The ime over the Boeing 747 seized in Argentina continues to have new chapters in the political ime involving four countries.
Argentina seized a Boeing 747 owned by the Venezuelan airline Conviasa but in service under the Emtrasur brand. This aircraft arrived in Ezeiza, where it was forcibly diverted transporting automotive parts for the Volkswagen Group and has since been prevented from taking off.
The accusation that the plane belonged to Iran was made by the Minister of Security of Argentina, Fernandez Anibal, pointing out that the plane of the Venezuelan Emtrasur Cargo was being operated by citizens of Iran.
And in the last few hours, federal judge Federico Villena, from Argentina, decided to confiscate the aircraft, while the circumstances in which it arrived in the country continue to be analyzed.
The political imes involving Argentina, Venezuela, Iran, the United States and Israel are also having an effect on other trips.
According to Simple Flying, there are about 200 tourists on a leisure trip to Havana in Cuba. The aircraft used to transport Argentine citizens was a Boeing 737-400 from the Estelar airline on June 11.
The conflicts between the countries involving the Emtrasur/Conviasa Boeing 747 meant that the Venezuelan plane that would bring the Argentines back to the country had its landing authorization denied.

Originally this flight would be operated by Cubana de Aviación, however, due to the company's conditions, it was decided to charter an aircraft from Estelar to carry out the flights. The operations were scheduled to be operated on the 14th, 16th and 18th, however no flights were operated.
Unable to return home, the number of Argentinian citizens trapped in Cuba rose to 200.
Unable to operate return flights, Cubana de Aviación is paying for all extra enger stays in addition to the costs of keeping Estelar's Boeing 737 on the ground.
“Cubana de Aviación is canceling its scheduled flight to Buenos Aires on Saturday, June 18, at 3:25 am local time, because, at least as of the time of writing this email, around 17:32 pm, there is no we obtained the operating licenses and were denied the refueling of the leased aircraft owned by Estelar”, said the director of Cubana.
In addition to Argentine citizens imprisoned in Cuba, there are also Venezuelan citizens imprisoned in Argentina. The reason is similar, as Conviasa had scheduled flights to Buenos Aires, however, it decided not to travel for fear of having the aircraft seized.
The company's plane from Venezuela diverted its route to Bolivia, from where it continued its journey returning to Caracas.
The conflicts have a focus, the Emtrasur/Conviasa Boeing 747 that should carry out cargo flights to Argentina. The accusation of the Argentine authorities is that the flight was being operated by Iranians linked to the Quds Force, the suspicion increased mainly because five crew were from Iran.
Mahan Airlines sold the Boeing 737-300M with registration YV3531 to Emtrasur Cargo in 2019, and since then this is the only plane operated by the subsidiary of the Venezuelan state-owned company Conviasa. Also noteworthy is the aircraft being blacklisted in the United States, and unable to fly to any North American city.
As the two countries are partners, they also suffer sanctions from Western countries. Recently, Conviasa agreed to incorporate two A340-600 aircraft currently operated by the Iranian Mahan Air.
