A part of the Raptors belong to the 477th Fighter Squadron, others are from the 3rd Fighter Wing, which is located in the north of the USA and has a fundamental role in the defense of the homeland in that region.
O Elephant Walk yesterday was also attended by transport aircraft, and the radar plane, which was the case of a C-17 Globemaster III and an E-3 Sentry AWACS that were part of the t training with the Raptors.
in addition to exercise Elephant Walk, the USAF is also leading the Polar Force, an exercise that lasts two weeks and occupies another base, its objective is the best interaction, training and exchange of experience between pilots from different squadrons.
The USAF has already carried out other exercises of the type in 2019 Elephant Walk, involving F-22 fighters.
