On August 20, Embraer carried out a special test mission with the E195-E2, which receives the “Profit Hunter” paint job, operating under registration PR-ZIJ.
In this test, the aircraft jettisoned water, which internal tanks carried in different parts of the plane. The goal was to check how the change in CG (Center of Gravity) in flight can affect the aerodynamic control of the aircraft, whether through the computer or the pilots' commands.
The photos below, by photographer Alisson Michel, show the E195-E2 jettisoning water during the flight, something very similar to the “smoke” of the FAB Air Demonstration Squadron.

Even with the plane already certified by Embraer, the tests that took place this week may generate updates that optimize the flight system of the Second Generation E-Jet line.
