The fleet of Embraer 195 Class F aircraft from Cargo Blue sured the mark of 3,7 million packages delivered throughout Brazil. In operation since February of this year, Class F aircraft are certified to transport cargo in the cabin, in heat and fire resistant containers, with an innovative fire detection system through thermal cameras.
Azul was the first airline in the world to operate an E195 aircraft transformed into a Class F freighter. The project was created by the company in partnership with LHColus Tecnologia, going through stages of conceptual development, cabin preparation, proof of concept and flights of test.
Currently, Azul Cargo has five aircraft Embraer 195 Class F in the fleet, which have already transported more than 7 thousand tons of gross weight of cargo in 5.000 flight hours.
With the advantage of being able to take advantage of Azul’s network, Azul Cargo is able to deliver within 48 hours to more than 2.000 Brazilian cities, from the north to the south of the country. In the Northeast orders arrive in one day. In addition, Azul's logistics unit has 310 stores serving more than 4.500 municipalities from door to door, always with a high rate of punctuality and regularity in deliveries.
The services offered by Azul Cargo include critical orders, B2C distribution for e-commerce, orders with economic rates and palletized cargo in the global market. Among the main types of services offered by Azul Cargo Express, the following stand out: (deliveries on the same day or the next day after sending the order); Blue Cargo 2 Hours (urgent shipments with immediate dispatch); Azul Cargo Amanhã (deliveries between 24h and 48h in the main centers of the country); Azul Cargo E-Commerce (a service that guarantees safety and agility in the delivery of products sold through electronic channels by companies) and Azul Cargo Standard (air transport of heavy loads in up to five days).
