The Embraer Phenom 300E is now the first jet single pilot to reach Mach 0.80, with an even quieter cabin and avionics upgrades that include protection against the phenomenon known as windshear and a runway departure warning and avoidance system – the first technology of its kind to be developed and certified in Executive Aviation.
Seeking to offer the best performance in the category, the Phenom 300E now offers more speed, becoming the executive jet single pilot fastest and longest range in the world. With the advances, the Phenom 300E now offers a maximum cruising speed of 464 knots (859 km/h) and a range of 2.010 nautical miles (3.724 km) with five occupants under NBAA IFR conditions.
In of comfort, the Phenom 300E now features an even quieter cabin, with rails for the pilot and co-pilot seats that are approximately 40% larger, providing more legroom in the cockpit, as well as a new interior design option. , known as Bossa Nova.
As far as noise reduction is concerned, the improvements have significantly minimized cabin noise during boarding and high frequency noise.
To offer unparalleled technology in its category, the Phenom 300E is receiving an avionics upgrade that will include a runway departure warning and avoidance system, windshear protection, emergency descent mode, PERF, TOLD, FAA , Datacom and many other systems.
The runway departure warning and avoidance system will act as an “additional pilot”, warning when the aircraft's approach is too steep or too fast, increasing situational awareness.
Embraer patented this technology, becoming the first manufacturer in Executive Aviation to develop and certify such technology. The new protection against the windshear phenomenon will be able to alert the pilots about the conditions of protection against the wind more in advance, helping them to prepare and maneuver the aircraft, in order to minimize adverse conditions. In addition, the Phenom 300E now has a 4G connection via Gogo AVANCE L5.
“Despite the extraordinary success of the Phenom 300 over the last decade, our visionary team is always working to provide the best experience for our customers, which sometimes means making an industry-leading aircraft even better, faster and safer”, said Michael Amalfitano, President & CEO, Embraer Executive Jets. "Our team's boundless imagination and intelligent engineering gave rise to the Phenom 300E, and it is in that same spirit that we continue to improve the most popular business jet of the decade."
With these enhancements, the award-winning new edition Bossa Nova interior, originally introduced in 2018 for the Praetor 500 and Praetor 600 jets, is now also an available option for the Phenom 300E.
The style interior features carbon fiber materials, fine stitching and piano black coloring. Inspired by the famous sidewalks of Rio de Janeiro, the design of the custom padding is complemented by the stitching details and the sofa's unique colors.
The most recent and advanced interior of Embraer Executive Jets, the Praetor 600 Bossa Nova, was awarded the best design of the year at the International Yacht & Aviation Awards 2019, in Venice (VIP Interior Design category).
Deliveries of the enhanced Phenom 300E will begin in May 2020; some of the features are optional.
Originally launched in 2005, the Phenom 300 entered the market in December 2009 and has held more than 50% of market share in the light jet segment since 2012. The aircraft is in operation in over 30 countries and its fleet has accumulated more than 1 million of flight hours.
Embraer continually invests in the competitiveness of the Phenom 300E through advances in its performance, comfort, technology and operational efficiency. In October 2017, the new Phenom 300E was unveiled and entered service just five months later. The newly upgraded aircraft will continue to be designated “E” (Enhanced).
