The Gripen F-39E/F was also on Schneider's agenda during the interview, not least because Embraer has a large participation in the development and production of the fighter.

Of the 36 units ordered by the FAB in 2013, 13 will be produced in Sweden, eight will begin production in Sweden and will be completed in Brazil, and finally, 15 will be completely built in the country.

The first Brazilian specimen has already completed its test round in Sweden and is now doing more tests in Brazil. The F-39E FAB 4100 is at the Gripen Flight Test Center, located at the Embraer plant in Gavião Peixoto (SP).
