Embraer transferred an E190-E2 fuselage from its factory in São José dos Campos to its facilities in Eugênio de Melo. The fuselage will be used to perform static tests. In the coming weeks, the company will also transfer the wings to the same test bench.

The static tests for the wing-fuselage assembly represent an important step in the certification campaign for the product, which is planned to receive certification in the first half of 2018.
At the moment, Embraer has already carried out the roll-out of the first E190-E2, this aircraft is already performing several tests on the ground, which even had the first start of the Pratt & Whitney Pure Power engine. Embraer estimates at the time of the roll-out that the first unit will start flying by July or August of that year.
