Embraer won the overall ranking after overcoming nine other companies that ranked among the top 10 in the study, which included a total of 150 companies from 23 industry sectors.

To arrive at this result, the survey evaluated qualitative and quantitative indicators referring to initiatives, investments and practical examples of the performance of each competing company in the field of innovation.

Among Embraer's innovation highlights for winning this year's award are the launch of the Praetor 500 and Praetor 600 executive jets, the most disruptive of their categories, EmbraerX initiatives, industry 4.0 processes and investments in stimulating the Culture of Innovation, such as the Green Light program, which provides time and financial allowance for employees to submit innovation proposals related to new products, businesses and technologies.
