The new Airbus A330 of the Brazilian Air Force (FAB) arrived at Victorville Airport (VCV) to be delivered to the Brazilian Air Force.
On July 13th, the aircraft made its first appearance in the colors of the FAB at Dublin Airport in Ireland. In the same place, the necessary revisions and maintenance were carried out to make the future KC-30 in good operating conditions.
The FAB will assess, through the Receiving Commission, the conditions of the future FAB2901 in Victorville (VCV), the location is known for being a desert for long-term storage of aircraft and also for dismantling those that have been retired.
After the inspection, the aircraft will proceed to the last steps before being officially delivered to the Air Force.
The A330 took off from Fort Lauderdale (FLL) in Florida yesterday (14) at 16:17 pm (local time), arriving in Victorville (VCV) at around 20:55 pm.

The new Brazilian Air Force plane is expected to arrive at Galeão Air Force Base (RJ) on July 26, from there the KC-30 will be operated by the Corsário Squadron (2nd/2nd GT). Takeoff is scheduled for the night of the 25th, arriving in Brazil around 10:15 am.

The FAB A330 that took off from Dublin this afternoon is part of the KC-X3 Project, which sought to acquire new transport and in-flight refueling aircraft of a strategic nature. The aircraft is the result of contract 220004/CABW/2022, from the Brazilian Aeronautical Commission in Washington, whose winner was Azul SA
Azul presented the aircraft MSN 1492 (Manufacturer's Serial Number), which was already operating, and the MSN 1508 (future FAB 2902), acquired on the international market and offered for bidding. As provided for in the announcement, the first aircraft must be delivered within 90 days and the second in up to 150 days, counted from the signature of the contract.
