FAB finds missing plane with servers in Paraná

The Brazilian Air Force (FAB) announced that it found the missing single-engine plane since last Monday (3) near Pico Canavieira located in the Serra do Mar region, in Paraná. The place is known for the predominant vegetation of the Atlantic Forest.

According to the Air Operations Military Police Battalion (BPMOA), two bodies were found near the wreckage. The BPMOA also reported that the location is difficult to access. All occupants died. 

Since last Monday, searches have focused on the coastal area of ​​Paraná between the municipalities of Guaratuba and Morretes. The FAB used the SC-105 Amazonas and H-60 ​​Black Hawk aircraft in the searches, as well as the of the fire brigade teams in the ground searches. 

The single engine had taken off last Monday from Umuarama, at 7:50 am and was destined for the city of Paranaguá, losing 10 minutes before the scheduled landing, around 10:20 am.

In view of the disappearance, the Fire Department was called only at 14 about the disappearance of the aircraft. 

After 5 days of searching, the Paraná Fire Department reported that thanks to the GPS signal from the pilot's watch, the FAB was able to locate the aircraft attached to the treetops, making it difficult to see from the air. 

The pilot Jonas Borges Julião, 37 years old, and the servants of the Civil House of the Government of Paraná, Heitor Guilherme Genowei Junior, 42 years old, and Felipe Furquim, 35 years old, were on the Piper Cherokee Arrow II with PT-JZC registration.
