The Federal Revenue's operation aims to promote tax compliance of Individual Income Tax (IRPF) taxpayers involved in rural activities that incurred expenses for the purchase, operation or maintenance of aircraft, expenses not recognized as rural activities. for IRPF purposes.
According to the Revenue via statement on gov.br, identified taxpayers will receive communications by mail and electronic mailbox in e-CAC.
In the initial phase, 43 taxpayers were notified: 11 from Goiás, 29 from Mato Grosso, 2 from Mato Grosso do Sul and 1 from the Federal District. These deductions totaled R$78,7 million in expenses between 2020 and 2022, resulting in a reduction of R$21,6 million in Income Tax.
“Notified taxpayers will have until August 31, 2024 to regularize their situation.”
