Fernando de Noronha will require proof of vaccination for visitors from October

With 100% of the adult population vaccinated with two doses, Fernando de Noronha will adopt a new protocol for the entry of visitors to the island. Now a digital vaccination card with two doses of the vaccine will be required, the last one with more than 21 days of application or, for those who only took one dose, the digital card and one of the following tests: negative result of the RT- test PCR, performed 48 hours before departure or less, or positive result of the IgG test by serology, performed in the laboratory, or reagent result of the neutralizing antibody test.

Exams performed by immunochromatography, such as rapid tests and antigen search tests, will not be accepted. The digital vaccination card can be purchased through the Ministry of Health's Connect SUS Citizen portals, Conecta Recife or e Verde.

Children from 0 to 6 years old are exempt from presenting exams for Covid-19. Children from 7 to 11 years old must present a negative result of the molecular RT-PCR test, carried out 48 hours before departure or less, or a positive result of the IgG test by serology, carried out in the laboratory. Children and adolescents between 12 and 17 years old, who have not received the vaccine, also need to present tests.

For the exit exam, performed on 30% of engers on each flight, currently required, it will no longer need to be performed after the change. As of December 1, only the vaccination card with the two doses applied will be accepted.
