Last Friday (11), a helicopter from the Minas Gerais Fire Department (Arcanjo 04) crashed during an air accident in Ouro Preto.
According to the information in the G1 Portal, all six occupants died, including four soldiers, a doctor and a nurse. The crashed helicopter is a Eurocopter BK117C-2K 117 C-2, registration PR-UEA.
The Fire Department reported that the aircraft's last report was at the Ouro Preto interchange, where the pilots reported the lack of visibility and safety, indicating the return to Belo Horizonte, which did not happen.
After a search team was called in, the wreckage of the aircraft was found after 12 hours in a steep mountain area in Ouro Preto, close to the site of the single-engine plane crash.
Although the cause of the accident is not yet known, the weather may have contributed to the fatality.
