LATAM has just confirmed that it will carry out a special flight for the second consecutive year to take guests from Farofa da Gkay. Contracted as a charter, the flight will take place in December this year on the Guarulhos-Fortaleza route. In addition to being considered by LATAM as a way to get even closer to the mass Brazilian public, with a focus on Brazilianness, diversity and inclusion, it will now also have a sustainable purpose. This is because LATAM has just become the first airline in Brazil to have emissions from charter flights 100% offset.
Now, all domestic and international charter contracts carried out by LATAM from Brazil include the value of emissions compensation, which varies according to the origin and destination of the flight and aircraft model.
Amira Ayoub, Head of Marketing at LATAM Brazil, reinforces the partnership. “We are very happy to continue to be part of this special moment for Gkay for the second year in a row and I am proud to say that this will be the first 100% compensated charter in our country. LATAM is increasingly focused on connecting with Brazilians and in its commitment to sustainability.”
“Gkay's Farofa starts in the air with the takeoff of the farofa plane! Once again, LATAM together with me, boarding all the guests from São Paulo to Fortaleza, on a special and completely personalized flight, so everyone arrives in a farofa mood! And let's go to the biggest farofa of all time! The farofa of farofas!”, highlights the influencer Gessica Kayane.
