On Thursday night (02), a KC-390 from the Zeus Squadron (1st Troop Transport Group) took off from the Galeão Air Base (RJ) and landed at the Canoas Air Base (RS), taking on board a Hospital complete campaign report of the Brazilian Army. In total, 12 tons of equipment, which will be used to assemble the Hospital, were taken to Lajeado, where part of the operations are concentrated.

“Being able to participate in a mission that helps improve health conditions and brings encouragement to the region’s residents is very gratifying and confirms the Squadron’s ability to respond promptly,” reports the aircraft commander, Captain Aviator Israel Amorim Barbosa Leal.
This Friday (03), the FAB used a Cessna C-98 to transport, from Canoas to Santa Maria, hospital equipment, laboratory material and infant breast milk.
