To receive those boarding flights outside Brazil with even more comfort, Florianópolis Airport now has a VIP lounge for international flights. Work has already started and the inauguration is scheduled for next month.
The new space will be managed by The Loungue, which since 2019 has been responsible for the VIP lounge for domestic departures at the airport in the capital of Santa Catarina. The brand is part of the Global Loungue Network, which is present in airports in 11 countries. With 165 m², the international VIP room in Florianópolis will have the following benefits:
- kids space
- business center
- buffet lines
- coffee station
- rest areas
- à la carte food service
- exclusive bathrooms
The novelty meets a growing demand for international flights. In the first half of this year, a 103% increase in enger movement was recorded compared to the same period in 2023. Currently, Florianópolis Airport has 6 airlines operating regular international flights to the following destinations: Buenos Aires (AEP and EZE ), Santiago de Chile and North America and the Caribbean, via Panama. From September 3rd, TAP Air Portugal begins operating, with 3 weekly flights to Lisbon.
