In the month that Aviator Day is celebrated, executive aviation has a lot to celebrate. Infraero is carrying out refurbishment and adaptation works in some areas of the São Paulo/Congonhas Airport to allow the international operation of executive general aviation. Initiated at the beginning of June, the work continues at an accelerated pace and is expected to be completed next November.
The internationalization of executive aviation means the resumption of international operations in Congonhas, suspended since the 1980s, and opens a wide field for general aviation in the central airport terminal of the capital of São Paulo. VOAR Aviation customers (which recently acquired Icon Aviation) will also be able to enjoy all the infrastructure, and peace of mind for their international trips, whether for business or tourism.
Aviator Day: the date celebrates the importance of these professionals, celebrated on October 23 since 1906, the year in which Santos Dumont flew for the first time with the 14-Bis. Always seeking to offer all the infrastructure and to the pilots and co-pilots who operate at Voar Aviation, the reception is complete: in all its 14 hangars in the main airports in Brazil, there are areas dedicated to the crew, such as a space for rest, networking area, in addition to ongoing training and workshops and a vehicle for transportation.
