All Check C maintenance services will be carried out at Gol's Maintenance Center, which is located in Confins, Minas Gerais, next to Confins Airport. The site consists of 3 hangars, one of which is for painting, and has space to receive up to 9 aircraft at the same time.

Gol will also be able to carry out maintenance on Delta Airlines' 737NG fleet, as the Maintenance Center complies with the guidelines of the American agency.

“We have been preparing for this certification for two years. We adapted the structure of the maintenance center, made improvements to our manuals and training programs for teams to be able to carry out this new task”, said Gol's maintenance director, Alberto Correnti.

Check C is performed after many hours of flight, and includes several steps, namely C1, C2, C3, C4, C5 and C6. All are carried out in an average period of nine years, with C1 being the first to be carried out after 15 months of use of the aircraft, on average. The entire Check C process is characterized by being extremely detailed, requiring the disassembly of several components of the aircraft for analysis.
