GOL expands flights in the Midwest and connects capitals in the region on direct flights to the South and Northeast

A GOL Linhas Aéreas increased the offer of flights from the capitals of the Midwest region to several cities in the South and Northeast of Brazil for the high season, bringing Customers from these regions closer to the tourist beauties of Brazil.

The flights not only connect Customers from the Midwest capitals to the beaches of the South and Northeast regions, but will also help residents from the Northeast and the South to get closer to nature tourism in destinations such as the Pantanal, Chapada dos Guimarães, Bonito and Chapada dos Veadeiros . 

In Goiás, home to destinations such as Pirenópolis and Chapada dos Veadeiros, GOL increased its offer of flights by 28% for the high season compared to October.

Currently, the Company already serves two cities in the state, the touristic Caldas Novas (CLV), with its warm waters, which has direct flights to São Paulo (CGH), and the capital Goiânia (GYN).

For the high season, the Company added five new direct markets to Goiânia. There are two for the South, for Curitiba (CWB) and Porto Alegre (POA), one for the Northeast, with a direct line to Fortaleza (FOR), one more for Rio, for Galeão, and another for Palmas (PMW).

In Mato Grosso (MT), GOL increased the number of operations by 51% compared to October. Present in Cuiabá (CGB) and Sinop (OPS), GOL has prepared nine new markets for the high season, most of them to the southern region from the capital of Mato Grosso, which will have nonstop flights to Curitiba (CWB), Londrina (LDB), Maringá (MGF) Navegantes (NVT) and Porto Alegre (POA).

There will also be direct flights from Cuiabá to Fortaleza (FOR), Maceió (MCZ) and Salvador (SSA). There will also be new flights between Cuiabá and Sinop, totaling 13 direct markets leaving or arriving in Mato Grosso.

In Mato Grosso do Sul (MS), the growth is 56% in relation to the number of departures compared to October. GOL already serves Bonito (BYO), with direct flights to São Paulo (CGH) and Campo Grande (CGR). For the high season, the Company will double the number of markets served in the state with new direct routes between Campo Grande (CGR) and Rio de Janeiro (GIG) and offering two new routes to the South, connecting the capital of Mato Grosso do Sul to Florianópolis ( FLN) and Porto Alegre (POA).
