This aircraft is configured with an interior that is completely different from GOL's aircraft, with 12 seats in Executive Class and 156 in Economy Class. All GOL aircraft, model 737-800, are configured with 186 seats.

The aircraft is under nationalization regime, at Confins Airport, and should be released to carry out flights in the next few days. In Brazil, the plane will operate with registration PR-GZF.

GOL is negotiating contracts to temporarily lease around 10 aircraft that operated on Jet Airways, the aircraft chosen by GOL have approximately 10 years of use. It is still not clear what configuration these aircraft will use, but as the company will receive these aircraft in Confins (MG), at its Maintenance Center, the aircraft can receive GOL seats, along with the 186-seat configuration.

GOL's movement follows the attitudes of LATAM and Azul, which are leasing aircraft of the A320 family, which operated in Avianca Brasil.

These extra planes allow GOL to expand its operations, even with the stoppage of the 737 MAX, to resume flights to the United States from Fortaleza and also to new flights, which may arise if the company buys slots in the Avianca Brasil asset auction.

Jet Airways announced in the middle of last April the total stoppage of its operations, the company was decreasing its fleet every week, due to the forced return of its aircraft, due to debts in the payment of leasing installments.
