Last Friday (19/11), GOL Linhas Aéreas dismissed at least two of the company's employees who had not been vaccinated with immunizers against covid-19.
Employees were removed from the company for just cause, that is, without their guaranteed labor rights.
The company's attitude was carried out after the Minister of the Federal Supreme Court (STF), Luís Roberto Barroso suspended the ordinance of the Ministry of Labor, which prohibited the dismissal of workers for lack of vaccination against Covid-19.
According to Barroso, the measure by the Ministry of Labor imposed due to an attitude by GOL at the end of October is unconstitutional. In this way, companies can resign for just cause for employees who do not vaccinate.

During the months of September and October, the GOL further intensified its internal campaign to raise awareness and encourage vaccination, reinforcing the importance of immunization among all employees. More than 99% of employees are currently vaccinated with two doses of the vaccine against Covid-19.
all companies collaborated with the transport of millions of vaccines free of charge to various locations in Brazil, streamlining logistics and allowing for a rapid drop in the number of Covid-19 cases and deaths in the country.
Now, in November, GOL has resumed its international operations, and many countries are demanding vaccination as a requirement for entry. The non-vaccination of crew and employees makes the operational part of the company difficult and, mainly, puts the company's tens of thousands of daily customers at risk.
