GOL wins award for best in-flight Wi-Fi in South America by APEX

A GOL Last Wednesday (08/06), Linhas Aéreas received an unprecedented award for the company.

Best Wi-Fi in South America (2022 enger Choice Award Winner for Best Wi-Fi in South America) was awarded by APEX (Airline enger Experience Association) during the APEX Content Market, held together with Future Travel Experience ( FTE) – EMEA-Ancillary – World Airport Retailing Summit, between the 7th and 9th of June.

A global not-for-profit organization and one of the world's largest international airline associations, APEX seeks to accelerate this industry with the of leading airlines and key suppliers. APEX calls itself “an association of companies and professionals who create, deliver and manage the air enger experience”.

For this year's award, APEX once again partnered with Concur's TripIt, the world's top-rated travel organization app, to collect anonymous enger and insights to reach the APEX finalists enger Choice Award.

Nearly 1 million flights have been rated by customers of over 600 airlines worldwide, using a scale of up to five stars. engers also had the opportunity to provide anonymous evaluations in five subcategories: Seat Comfort, Cabin Service, Food & Beverage, Entertainment and Wi-Fi (in which GOL was the regional winner).

In the month of October, it will be 6 years since GOL offers its Customers in-flight entertainment, a system that was installed for the first time in Latin America on the aircraft with prefix PR-GUG, on 3/10/2016.
