Água Boa Municipal Airport is undergoing works to revitalize the runway, using a micro asphalt coating. Maintenance is due to a requirement of ANAC - National Civil Aviation Agency, in view of the accumulation of water that was happening on the sides and in the middle of the runway.
The new paving layer began on June 11th and is expected to be finished on June 20th, including maintenance of the runway and patio. The main objective of the work is to guarantee greater safety for air operations.
On the 14th and 17th of June, NOTAM windows were opened at two times: 10:30 am to 11:30 am and from 15:16 pm to 30:XNUMX pm, for the Azul airline to land.
