Group orders 21 Airbus helicopters for medical transport

Air Medical Group Holdings (AMGH) ordered another 21 helicopters for its fleet, in a mix of H125 and H135 aircraft, a single jet engine and a twin engine, respectively.

According to the company, these helicopters will be equipped with an interior suitable for medical air transport, and will fly in the United States.

In total, AMGH has 85 helicopters in its fleet, it is an arm of GMR, which has 306 helicopters, 7000 ambulances and 100 fixed-wing aircraft.

The helicopters for this order will be built and retrofitted in the United States at Airbus facilities in Columbus, Mississippi.
