According to a survey by the Secretariat of Civil Aviation (SAC) for the Carnival period, Guarulhos Airport is the one that recorded the highest rate of delayed flights during the date that extended from February 4th to 15th. About 9,5% of flights in the period departed after the schedule scheduled by the airline. Guarulhos Airport ed the highest number of engers during Carnival.
In the assessment of Carnival by SAC, the 7 largest airports in the country at the moment were analyzed, they are RIOGaleão – RJ, Santos Dumont – RJ, GRUAirport – SP, Congonhas – SP, Brasília – DF, Salvador – BA and Recife – PE. The service quality score index, carried out through a SAC survey directed at engers, chose Recife with a score of 4,35, followed by Guarulhos with 4,33 and Congonhas with 4,26.
The average occupancy of domestic flights was 85% during the days evaluated, while the estimate of transported engers is close to 5 million in the period from February 4 to 15.
From the 04th to the 10th of February, Brasília Airport ed the best punctuality index among the evaluated terminals, with approximately 4,11% of delays exceeding 30 minutes.
