Improvements in vehicle parking at Santo Ângelo Regional Airport were addressed this Wednesday, the 05th, at a meeting at the Casa do Civil at Palácio Piratini, organized by state deputy Eduardo Loureiro (PDT).
Currently, the place has 25 seats, but the movement tends to increase with the inauguration of flights to São Paulo on October 18th.
Therefore, the parking lot needs improvements and even expansion. Some are already being done on the initiative of rural producers and the City Hall. In this sense, the meeting at the Civil House served to speed up the bureaucratic procedures, allowing the place to have around 100 parking spaces.
At the meeting, in which Mayor Jacques Barbosa participated virtually, there were the State Secretary for the Environment, Marjorie Kauffmann, the Secretary of Transport Luiz Gustavo and the director of the State Airport Department (DAP) Leandro Taborda, in addition to the Deputy Secretary of the Civilian, Paulo Pereira.
