The company reported a 70% increase in the number of engers transported to and from Brazil, with more than 270 thousand engers in the first six months of 2023. It also reported a 40% growth in flights operated at the beginning of the year, with more than 1.740 operations between the four routes that connect São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Manaus and Belo Horizonte to Bogotá.

In addition, Avianca ended the semester with an OTP (On Time Performance) punctuality indicator of 86,9% and a SC (Schedule Completion) compliance rate of 100%.

Even in the midst of a challenging environment for aviation due to variables such as the increase in fuel prices, the exchange rate and inflation, Avianca managed to advance in strategic projects during these almost two years, such as the simplification of its fleet, choosing the Airbus A320 and the Boeing 787 Dreamliner; the reconfiguration in record time of its A320 aircraft to offer 20% more capacity and reduce the carbon footprint per enger by up to 15,35%; and updating its product to offer more flexibility and customization to customers, in addition to rates that are up to 25% more competitive in the case of Brazil, contributing to the democratization of air travel.
