Airbus released today (09/05) the numbers of deliveries of commercial aircraft throughout April this year.
A total of 48 aircraft were delivered to 34 customers in the last month, including Azul, which received an A321neo with special paint in your fleet.
In the accumulated result for the year, Airbus has already accumulated 190 deliveries in four months, with 54 customers responsible for receiving aircraft from the company. However, the manufacturer said in the statement that 188 planes were officially delivered, as AEROFLOT could not receive two A350-900s already manufactured.
The year 2022 promises to be even better for Airbus, which has already received 507 new orders in recent months.
For the year the manufacturer expects to deliver around 720 aircraft, this is what the company's CEO, Guillaume Faury, said earlier during a press conference. This number is similar to the 718 aircraft produced and delivered in 2017.
In April, Airbus also approached the milestone of 14000 aircraft manufactured and delivered. This goal will be reached this month, May, since there are 11 planes left to reach this number.
