In Madrid, Embratur and MTur deal with air connectivity and expansion of flights to Brazil

The delegation from Brazil that participates in Fitur, in Madrid (Spain), met this last Friday (21/01) with representatives of the Spanish airline Iberia and the Ávoris Group. On the agenda, the increase in flights to Brazil, t promotion campaigns with Embratur and the expansion of investments in the country.

The meetings were attended by the president of Embratur, Carlos Brito, and the delegation of the Ministry of Tourism, which included the head of the Special Advisory Office, Rafael Luisi, and the head of the Special Advisory Office for International Relations, Ambassador Jorge Kadri.

At the stand in Brazil at Fitur, Embratur and MTur discussed partnerships in promoting and expanding the offer of flights to the country with the airline Iberia. Carlos Brito highlighted the optimism regarding the resumption of tourism. An agreement was discussed for t disclosure in destinations where Iberia already has routes in Brazil.

The company signaled that it should resume, now in February, the number of flights to São Paulo (one daily flight) and, from July, three flights a week to Rio de Janeiro. “Embratur would invest in promoting destinations and Iberia would have more flights to Brazil”, said the president of Embratur.

Then, at Grupo Ávoris headquarters, in Madrid, the delegation from Brazil met with Johan Tyren, from the Tourism Operations area, and Lisandro Menu-Marque, Expansion director. During the talks, there were discussions to strengthen tourism and future partnerships in Brazil.

 

PERU – Still at the Brazilian stand, Embratur and MTur met with the president of the Peruvian Travel and Tourism Association, Ricardo Acosta. The Peruvian highlighted the importance of promoting Brazilian destinations in the country and the need to disseminate information aimed at tourists in Peru.
