Campinas International Airport (V) now receives regular flights from another cargo operator. This time, DHL's iconic yellow planes will operate in one of the main cargo terminals in Brazil.
Despite the DHL painting, the flights are being operated by Canadian Cargojet, which since March this year has made 12 767 cargo aircraft available to expand DHL's demand, which includes the start of regular flights in Brazil.
In the first operations in Brazil, the 767 will be used daily except on Saturdays from Miami with takeoff at 17 pm (local time), arriving in Campinas around 23 pm.

In addition, DHL intends to be the inaugural launch customer for Cargojet for the Boeing 777-300 long-range conversion cargo aircraft, which is expected to be deployed in late 2023 or early 2024. The more fuel efficient freighter will DHL's efforts to improve the carbon footprint of its transport operations , while enabling customer growth.

In recent months, the DHL is investing a lot in Brazil. The German freight company launched a air hub exclusive in Guarulhos, which completed a year and a half in operation in February. The Guarulhos Hub was especially important for speeding up deliveries for Black Friday and Christmas.
Around 6 tons have already been shipped through the structure and demand remains strong in 2022, mainly for express cargo from customers in the automotive, pharmaceutical and technology sectors.
