Smiles, GOL's loyalty program with the most complete travel platform, through its social program Milhas do Bem, participates once again in Dia de Doar, a social movement that, since 2013 in Brazil, promotes generosity through connection between people and social causes.
This Tuesday (28), the brand made a post on collab on Instagram with influencers Estevam pelo Mundo, Hariana Meinke and Preta Demais, who will help promote the initiative. For each post shared, Smiles will donate 200 miles to partner institutions until eleven fifty-nine on November 28th or until the two million miles mark is reached.
Furthermore, both on this day and throughout the year, Smiles customers can donate their miles on website and application. Just choose one of the partner institutions you want to help with, and enter the number of miles you want to donate and that's it, the action is done. For every mile donated, Smiles donates one more. It is also possible to donate miles for purchases at Shopping Smiles, on the checkout, there is an option to round up the final purchase value and the extra goes directly to the Milhas do Bem program.
Miles of Good
Created in 2017 with the purpose of transforming lives, through the of customers and partners to donate their miles to NGOs and social projects, the Milhas do Bem program has already donated more than 320 million miles.
Six institutions participate in the program: Fundação Dom Cabral, Rede Cruzada, Instituto Proa, Instituto Reação, Junior Achievement and Parceiros Voluntários, which were selected for the seriousness of their work, and great impact on the lives of the communities they help. With the , Smiles aims to provide more opportunities to reduce social inequality, in addition to helping to provide teaching materials, courses and projects in various socio-educational areas.
