The R-27 air-to-air missiles have a good range which is a good asset in air-to-air conflicts. Weapons have medium and long range capabilities.

The Indian Air Force has been renewing itself, with many purchases of fighters, including the French Rafale, in addition to separate weapons to the Indian military forces, which constantly enter into isolated conflicts with Pakistan due to the Kashmir region, that this year has already been the height of tensions between the two nations.
