A Infrared signed a contract with the City Hall of Xanxerê, in Santa Catarina, to carry out implementation services for the Unified System for Collection and Collection of Airport Fees (Sucotap) at the Regional Airport of Xanxerê/ João Winckler.
The contract provides for the implementation of Sucotap, which is an integrated set of norms, procedures, resources (human, technological and financial) and airport management control instruments. The System will be used to process, charge, collect and transfer to the City Hall the amount collected with airport fees for boarding, landing, stay and connection of operations carried out at the airport, in accordance with current regulations.
Infraero's controlling superintendent, Elismar Lopes, points out that the correct assessment of the calculation of aeronautical tariffs in air operations is extremely important for any of the system, whether airlines, aircraft owners and air taxi companies. “The tariffs represent remuneration for a series of services available to those who fly, including services for providing airport infrastructure, signaling, lighting, conservation, boarding, security, among others. The identification of these resources is essential for the collection of amounts and calculation of revenue for the ”, highlights the superintendent.
The person in charge of João Winckler Airport, Rivael Sander Freschi, emphasizes that until the contract signed with Infraero, the municipality did not have control of landings and takeoffs made at the Airport, nor of the collection of airport fees for aircraft, a charge that is made in all airports. Brazilian airports.
“Through this agreement, it will be possible to tax landings and takeoffs. Part of this resource will remain with the municipality and will be applied to maintenance and improvements at the airport. This is the first step to implement, soon, a set of benefits at João Winckler Airport”, concludes Freschi.
