The de-rubber service is a maintenance activity carried out by hydrojetting, which removes the rubber left on the runway by aircraft at the time of landing, without damaging the pavement surface.

The deadline for executing the services is 30 calendar days from the start date requested by the contractor, following the standards established by the National Civil Aviation Aviation Agency (Anac). Two maintenance will be carried out – one in 2024 and another in 2025 – within the 24-month contractual period.

On another front, Infraero signed a contract with Aena Brasil to authorize the use of radio frequencies at the following airports: Congonhas; Campo Grande, Ponta Porã and Corumbá, in Mato Grosso do Sul; Altamira, Carajás, Santarém and Marabá, in Pará, and Uberaba, Uberlândia and Montes Claros, in Minas Gerais. With this, 918 licenses granted to Infraero will be made available to operate a radiocommunication station. The contract will be valid for 12 months, counting from the date of signature.
