Irkut, through the Russian state group UAC, carried out tests last April 27 with the third prototype of the MC-21-300 equipped for the first time with an interior totally dedicated to the transport of engers.
The aircraft performed a flight from Irkutsk to Ulyanovsk Vostochny Airport, with this new interior. In the same place it will receive the external painting, in the colors of Irkut.
The plane will fly shortly after receiving the painting to Zhukovsky Airport, where the flight tests will continue.

Roman Taskayev, one of the flight's test pilots, said: “The flight took place normally, there is nothing to complain about”.
Irkut took the opportunity to announce that the 4th test aircraft of the MC-21 development program is fully assembled and is already on its way to receive the interior in Irkut's standard for enger transport, as shown in the photo below.
