The band Iron Maiden presented at that moment the new Ed Force One, which will transport the band in its new Tour. The Boeing 747 was demonstrated in its new colors at Cardiff Airport in the United Kingdom, where the band departs for their 2016 tour.
The new aircraft, a Boeing 747-400, is larger than the previously used Boeing 757, and will through 35 countries in total and travel 88,5 km during The Book of Souls World Tour in 2016. The aircraft it is configured to have an interior with a bed seat, which allows all of the crew to have a good night's sleep on board the aircraft, in addition to carrying 12 tons of equipment for the band for the shows.

For the first time, Ed Force One will be a for the band during a tour in Europe, in all the shows that Iron Maiden will perform in the European continent, the 747 will help the band and transport equipment. The pilot will be Bruce Dickinson, who learned to fly at Cardiff Aviation, his own aircraft maintenance company, which now has a 747 simulator especially for Dickinson's use.
The aircraft will through Brazil from the 17th to the 26th of March, through the cities of São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Belo Horizonte, Brasília and Fortaleza, places where the band will perform with The Book of Souls World Tour. In Portugal, the band will perform only one show in Lisbon, which is scheduled for July 11th.
