Before arriving at Azul, this A330neo (MSN 1903) operated for AirAsia X with the registration number HS-XJB.

Unlike the other A330neo and ceo that are part of Azul, the PR-ANC will have the advantage of maintaining the AirAsia X cabin standard, making the seating configuration, in theory, tighter.

For comparison purposes, Azul's current configuration has 298 seats, divided into 264 in economy and 34 in business. With the same aircraft at AirAsia

Azul expects to receive two aircraft in total from AirAsia X, which do not have in-flight entertainment at first. It is not yet known whether Azul will maintain this configuration or retrofit it to suit its current cabin configuration model.
