A Itapemirim Transportes Aéreas debuted a few months ago, however, the company may make its first international operation in November.
Following the path of Azul and GOL, the company requested non-scheduled flights between Rio de Janeiro (GIG) and São Paulo (GRU) to Montevideo, Uruguay.
The company will transport Flamengo and Palmeiras fans on three flights to Uruguay traveling to the Libertadores Final, scheduled to take place in Montevideo on November 27th.
All flights will be operated by the company's Airbus A320, with capacity for 162 engers in a single class.

The company is currently studying operations between Brazil and Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 2022. This could be the first operation of regular international flights by Itapemirim.
Itapemirim is investing heavily in chartered flights, despite its regular operations. The company has several scheduled flights between Brasilia and Maceió in high season, in a recent partnership with CVC.
