The start of this operation across the country was designed to meet the growing demand from travelers for low-cost internal routes. The airline plans to carry more than 2 million engers in the first year of domestic operations in the country, positioning itself as a key catalyst in the local air market, uniting Colombia's largest cities and those that currently have no connection. The initiative paves the way for more efficient access to different regions of Colombia, thus promoting economic, tourist and cultural development throughout the country.

JetSMART's commitment to Colombia is part of the development of an ambitious expansion and growth plan in South America, where the country occupies an important place in development potential. The start of operations occurs after JetSMART completes the stages of the certification process in accordance with current local aeronautics standards, which granted the Air Operator Certificate (AOC).
