The agreement provides for the technology transfer of the Turkish Ankar drone produced by Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI), TAI will collaborate in the production of the first units, including in the maintenance and repairs of the unmanned aircraft.

Developed by TAI for the Turkish Air Force, the Anka is a medium-altitude unmanned aerial vehicle for reconnaissance and surveillance missions. The drone relies on advanced non-stop intelligence technologies.

In addition, Ankar has a kind of 'autopilot' in case there is a loss of communication with the operator, including a system for identifying allied and enemy targets.

Anka's surveillance system has an infrared electro/optical camera, ensuring high-resolution images during the day and night.
