KLM will start flying daily with the new World Business Class (WBC) and Comfort Class cabins in São Paulo. Currently available on five of the seven weekly frequencies, the daily service is expected to begin on May 20, with sales already available on the company's channels and through travel agents. The operation will be carried out by Boeing 777-300 aircraft, with 35 seats in World Business Class, 24 in Comfort and 322 in Economy.

In addition to being wider, the new World Business Class seats have a sliding door, ensuring more comfort and privacy. Thanks to several innovations, the seats and their accessories are between 10% and 15% lighter than other business class seats in this market segment.
The new seats were designed based on extensive customer research. Among their differences, they offer engers more space and comfort, ensuring that all engers have direct access to the aisle. Each seat has a lightweight sliding door that can be easily opened and closed, providing greater privacy when working, relaxing and/or sleeping.

More personal adjustment options and -friendly features have been added, including an adjustable lumbar and a relax setting with a subtle back massage feature. The seat can fully recline to form a comfortable 198cm long bed, plus easily accessible and visible charging sockets. engers also have the option of wireless charging.
The new Comfort

Comfort is the company's intermediate class, available since April 2023 in Rio de Janeiro and since October last year in São Paulo. The cabin stands out for offering more space, luxury, service options, comfort and privacy compared to Economy category seats, in addition to having lower prices than World Business Class (WBC). The new cabin also allows KLM to more closely meet the needs and desires of leisure and business travelers.
Comfort's capacity on flights to the capital of São Paulo is 24 seats, which are wider than standard seats, offering more legroom (99 cm), a larger screen and a footrest. The seats also recline more than those in Economy class.
Brazilian menu
The cabin also has a different catering concept. On intercontinental flights, one or two hot meals will be served, depending on the length of the journey. There is always a choice of meat, fish or vegetarian dishes.
On flights from Brazil to Amsterdam, the dishes are designed by Rodrigo Oliveira. The Brazilian chef, from the renowned Mocotó and Balaio IMS restaurants, has partnered with the airline since 2014 and brings the best of local cuisine made with specially selected ingredients. With selected ingredients that reflect the authenticity and quality of both KLM and chef Rodrigo, the onboard culinary experience is a tribute to the originality and diversity of Brazilian flavors.
After the meal, coffee, tea, liquor and ice cream are offered. A variety of snacks and cocktails are also served between meals.
KLM's operation in São Paulo
Currently, KLM operates a daily flight in the capital of São Paulo, being the only direct connection to Amsterdam, which guarantees dozens of connection options to other destinations in Europe, Africa and Asia, including China. There are just over 9.700 kilometers to Amsterdam, covered in an average of 10 hours and 40 minutes by Boeing 777-300.
