The Channel of YouTube SBGR Live specialized in monitoring the movement at the Guarulhos airport, caught a beautiful approach made by a Boeing 777-300 (PH-BVS) from KLM. The fact occurred last Sunday (12), on flight KLM791, from Amsterdam.
At the time of the incident, it is possible to observe that the plane was just a few meters from touching the ground, and ended up 'drying' the runway, including a beautiful vortex effect on the wings due to the rainy weather.

rush procedure

Being a safety procedure, the go-around occurs during the approach and when the pilots choose to abort the landing procedure, gaining altitude to try another landing later, a moment that can scare some engers.

Even though the approach may seem abnormal to the occupants, this procedure aims to maintain the physical integrity of the aircraft and engers, and aviation safety must always be placed first in any decision.
In the case of the go-around of flight KLM791, the combination of weather with strong winds plus the wet runway may have been the main reason for the go-around. There are also other factors that can interfere, such as objects on the runway and even the presence of birds in the airport area.
