Tomorrow, Tuesday, August 8th, the biggest business aviation event in Latin America begins. Labace 2023 (Latin American Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition) takes place from Tuesday to Thursday at Congonhas Airport and will bring together more than 40 aircraft on display, including the largest executive jets, and around 100 companies. Over the 3 days, 15 people are expected.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, the general aviation segment has experienced remarkable growth. Currently, Brazil has an important fleet of business aircraft, totaling 9.696 units, including turboprops, jets and helicopters.
Between May 2022 and May 2023, the executive jet fleet expanded by 7,4%, while the number of turbine helicopters increased by 6,4%. Notably, the turboprop aircraft fleet saw an impressive 12,6% growth. These numbers illustrate a scenario of strengthening and diversification in the business aviation sector in the country, emphasizing the importance of this area in the current economic and social context, as well as in increasing the capacity and connectivity of Air Transport in the country.
Tomorrow, Tuesday, August 8th, the official opening of the event will be at 10:30 am. On other days, the fair takes place from 12:20 to XNUMX:XNUMX. More information at www.labace.com.br
