The famous Learjet executive jet, which appears in Pink Floyd's 'Money', for example, is no longer produced by canadian bombardier.
The last aircraft will be delivered soon, this is a Learjet 75 that will be delivered to the company Northern Jet Management, from the United States.
Since the 60s, more than 3000 Learjet aircraft have been built in different versions, being one of the main aircraft in its segment for several years in the last century. The first model in the series seated 8 people and was manufactured in 1963, with deliveries beginning in 1964.

Bombardier said it plans for the future to only focus on its Challenger and Global executive jets. For several years the Learjet did not list bulky order quantities, and it was already showing signs that it would not be able to compete with more modern aircraft produced by Embraer, Cessna and Honda.
Bombardier, in contrast, said it will continue to the Learjet family of planes with parts and upgrades. It even launched a modernization program for the Learjet 40 and 45 series.
Currently 2145 Bombardier Learjet aircraft are in activity around the world, in different versions.
The Learjet 75 was the last available version of this series. With new engines, design and winglets, this aircraft has a range of 3778 km, and can fly at 51000 feet. The autonomy of this plane is enough to fly between São Paulo and Santiago (Chile), nonstop, for example.
