LATAM Brasil has strategically planned its air network for the demand of Rock in Rio, recognized for attracting many travelers from outside Rio de Janeiro. In the last edition, 68% of the public traveled by plane to the festival.
This year, LATAM Airlines Brasil is the Official Airline of Rock in Rio, which will gather 700 people in the City of Rock (Av. Salvador Allende, s/n, Rio de Janeiro) from September 27th to 29th and from September 3rd to October 6th.
In all, for the period between September 26th and October 8th, LATAM created 76 extra flights to and from Rio de Janeiro (Galeão) from Brasília, Belo Horizonte (Confins), Florianópolis, Fortaleza, São Paulo (Guarulhos ), Goiânia, Porto Alegre, Recife and Salvador. The increase corresponds to around 14 seats that will be added to LATAM's domestic network to meet the flow of demand for the festival.
The extra flights to Rock in Rio are part of LATAM Airlines Brasil's efforts to promote the festival. The company considers the event a unique opportunity to highlight its brand, as well as products and services with the concept “Music makes you travel”.
