Leader of the national airline sector since 2021 and prepared to grow in 2024, LATAM held its 11 Marketing and Sales Convention on March 12 and 2024. This year's edition of the event brought together 130 employees from the Sales and Marketing areas in Tauá Resort & Convention, in Atibaia (SP). The meeting served to celebrate the company's market position and align expectations for 2024. LATAM, it is worth ing, is the fastest growing airline in Brazil since 2021 according to ANAC (National Civil Aviation Agency), and will expand from 7% to 9% of its domestic operation in the country in 2024.
The two days of the event were marked by dynamics and meetings to promote the integration of teams on the current situation and opportunities for LATAM to continue growing in Brazil. LATAM’S COMMITMENT TO BRAZIL
More efficient and competitive, LATAM is the fastest growing airline in Brazil since 2021, and has led the national airline sector for three consecutive years, according to ANAC (National Civil Aviation Agency). It currently operates the largest airline network in its history in Brazil (more than 50 destinations).
In 2023 alone, LATAM received 15 new factory aircraft in Brazil, which helped the company expand its domestic operations in the country by 8% and transport 33 million engers. In 2024, LATAM expects the arrival of more planes and a new growth of 7% to 9% in its domestic operations in the country, compared to 2023. In practice, more than 3 million of the company's seats will be added in Brazil this year .
Specifically in the Brazilian international flight market, LATAM opened 6 new routes in 2023: Guarulhos-Joanesburgo, Guarulhos-Los Angeles, Belo Horizonte-Santiago, Florianópolis-Santiago, Brasília-Lima and Porto Alegre-Santiago. In parallel, it signed a technical cooperation agreement with Embratur (Brazilian Tourism Company) to promote Brazil internationally.
