LATAM announced today (10/09) that the CEO of the LATAM Airlines Group, Enrique Cueto Plaza, after 25 years at the head of the company, will leave his position as of March 31, 2020 and will be succeeded by the current Commercial Vice President , Roberto Alvo Milosawlewitsch.
This relevant announcement takes place in a context of strength in which the Group has successfully faced a long period of complex world and regional scenarios, in addition to having been able to carry out a transformation rarely seen in the world airline industry, creating the largest network of airlines From Latin America.
The move, which will take place on March 31, 2020, will allow for a planned transition without impacting current strategic priorities and ongoing projects.

This appointment comes after a planned succession process, initiated last year, which considered external and internal candidates. The unanimous decision of the Board of Directors to appoint Roberto Alvo took into his 18 years of experience at the company, successfully occupying different positions in the areas of Finance, Fleet, Planning and, in recent years, in charge of the Commercial area.
