LATAM was elected the Best Airline in South America at the prestigious World Airline Awards, held at the historic Langham Hotel, in London (United Kingdom).

For the third consecutive year, the group of airlines won first place as the Best Airline in South America and was also recognized by engers with the top award for Best Staff in South America.

According to Paulo Miranda, Vice President of Customers at LATAM Airlines Group, “these are awards that we receive with pride, but also with a lot of responsibility. We are deeply committed to providing excellent service, in line with our customers' expectations, but also committed to making our planet a better place for today's and tomorrow's engers. Thank you to all the teams that made both awards possible.”

WORLD AIRLINE AWARDS 2022

The World Airline Awards are known in the industry for their independence and impartiality. It was created in 1999 as a truly global customer satisfaction study.

Travelers from all over the world vote in the largest airline enger satisfaction survey to determine the winners in each of its categories in the award that is recognized by media around the world as the “Oscars of the airline industry”.

The online customer survey was conducted from September 2021 to August 2022, along with invitations sent to respondents from the previous year based on the survey database. The customer survey is available in English, French, Spanish, Russian, Japanese and Chinese.

Customers of more than 100 nationalities participated in the 2021/2022 survey with 14,32 million questionnaires in the analyzed results. More than 300 airlines are listed in the final results.
