LATAM is the airline group with the best performance in of sustainability in all of Latin America, and the seventh globally, according to the most recent Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) from Standard & Poor's (S&P Global).
In addition to this achievement, it was the only group of airlines in the region present in the 2024 edition of “The Sustainability Yearbook”, the annual event in which the prestigious credit rating agency highlights companies that have demonstrated exceptional growth in the evaluation of their management. sustainability, due to its environmental, social and corporate governance practices.
To qualify for the yearbook, companies must score in the top 15% of their industry and earn an S&P Global Sustainability Score in the top 30% of best-performing companies in their field. In the 2024 edition, of a total of 9.400 companies evaluated, 61 were airlines, of which, according to the evaluation, only 7 entered the yearbook.
