In Brazil alone, LATAM has already transported almost 26 million doses to 180 states and the Federal District – equivalent to 61% of the entire volume distributed by aviation in the country.

"Brazil is a country with continental dimensions and, therefore, our responsibility is enormous. Today I want to thank and recognize all LATAM employees who took on this responsibility and were part of the solution. We work together day after day for vaccines to reach their destinations. And that's how we already contributed directly to the immunization with two doses of 90 million Brazilians”, says Jerome Cadier, CEO of LATAM Brazil.

In addition to the free transport of vaccines, LATAM's Solidarity Plane has already moved more than 1.860 organs and tissues in South America, 3.323 health professionals to meet the urgent needs of Covid-19, 657 patients with urgent medical needs, 17 transport of cells trunk for leukemia patients and more than 1.100 tons of cargo, including medical supplies and vaccines.

The Avião Solidário program has been operating for more than 10 years on three fronts: health, environment and natural disasters. Recently, the program announced new alliances with social and civil society organizations in Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru, making available to these partners the expertise, infrastructure, connectivity and agility in air transport through air tickets and cargo transportation Without cost.
